The cartwheel covering of super soft limited edition green German felt (thicker than FPCD4) is tightly sewn for a super clean sound yet produces a softer and warmer\/darker tone than the FPCD4 mallets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hickory shaft, compared to bamboo, offers a completely different balance, feel and rebound off the head.
