Drummer Emmeiji a.k.a emj, a true cymbal enthusiast who has purchased more than a thousand cymbals,
has spent years independently studying modification and repair techniques.
Out of his deep passion for cymbals—and the encounters with people who shared that passion—the handmade cymbal brand emjmod was born.

emjmod = emj (Emmeiji) + mod (modify / modulate).

From selecting raw materials to hammering and lathing,
every process is carefully carried out by emj himself.
Each piece combines an original, nature-inspired design with a tone that truly works in real musical settings.
emjmod cymbals are now available in music stores across Japan, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Taiwan,
and are loved by leading drummers and percussionists.
