The 1” white phenolic ball has a sweeter, warmer attack than the 1BR. Clean, clear sound throughout the range. Great for lots of general-purpose playing on glock (think Dance of the Snowflakes) and is a perfect xylo/bells crossover stick.
All Dragonfly Percussion keyboard mallets are made with the highest quality Indonesian rattan handles. They are all 7-7.5mm (+/-) in diameter (approx. 9/32”) at the butt-end and 13 1/8” in length. Each pair is hand-selected to ensure both mallets are extremely straight and matched in both diameter and flex. We then categorize the pairs to best suit the various models of mallets we make.
