The newly re-designed Dragonfly Large Tam-Tam stick has a huge sound but also makes playing soft notes super easy. The new design sports the same 150mm wheel-shaped core as the original. However, it is now on a much larger handle- 18” long, ⅞” diameter weighted aluminum with a padded grip. It has enough mass and surface area to activate a huge overtone spectrum on any tam. The double-sided soft/hard covering makes executing single notes at any dynamic easy. The large diameter core can also sit upright on the floor- very handy for fast changes. Perfect general purpose mallet for most symphonic tam-tam playing.
