Small 1″ wood ball on Tonkin shafts. Same model as the Dresdner 2 without the chamois covering. Excellent for a lighter more compact wood timpani sound that won’t overwhelm, with balanced feel for baroque and early classic rep, especially in a reduced orchestra or chamber orchestra. Particularly nice on small timpani, hand tuned drums or kurbelpauke, with a more natural and live feel from the Tonkin shaft.
