Jean Claude Gengembre Series brings a palette of different timbres and colours. This series will meet any complex or general needs you may require; from a full, deep sound to complex and sophisticated passage.

Talking about the felt models, every single pair is also very versatile, allowing you to achieve any dynamic and balance of sound easily. The series is a composition of three different tones adapted to 4 different sizes in cores and bamboo lengths. That means different timbres from a 42mm to a 33mm head.

The bamboo is a medium weight with medium thick walls, complementing the colour coming from the core. The length ranges from 36.5cm to 36cm, depending on the size from the head.

This is the largest model from the series. The construction of the core is made of hard yarn. The size of it allows the player to get big volumes and deep tones from the drums. Always keeping a warm and clean sound

The felt is well balanced in order to get a softer side from the core.

 A clear, direct tone. An all-terrain pair that allows the player to transition into any dynamic easily. 

This model is made of a core from a softer Yarn. Slightly brighter tone than the M1. But still on the medium side of the scale of warm sound.

The felt is relaxed. It brings the sound from the core with no effort but also will give a very consistent and lineal sound, especially in softer dynamics on the middle drums.

A harder, brighter and lighter tone. The third tone from the series is this innovative core by insoundmallets- core+calf-. Bright tone with a slightly compact punch.

It is a 25mm core that will get a good balance across the different sizes of drums. Less felt is involved in this model, making the core more alive and present.

 As with the M2, this is an all-terrain, easy to get to any dynamic, retaining the essence from the core

This is a reduced version from M3. Keeping all the features and the essence from the core+calf core, with the M4 lighter and more delicate passages can be achieved

This model is a 27mm core beautiful finished with Suede.

The large size from the core will give a deep and compact tone among the drums. The suede adds a clear layer giving full articulation in loud dynamics without sacrificing depth of tone.

Another leather, another tone, another experience. The lamb skin used gives an even clearer articulation than the M5. Again the core is large, making the model very versatile for any repertoire and orchestral needs
