JG Percussion JP9 Joseph Pereira Timpani Mallets are made with a European layered design that features layers of leather and Viennese flannel. This model is made with medium-sized soft flannel discs. It is an articulate but warm-sounding stick.

All of the mallets in the Joseph Pereira Signature line are made from strong, hand-selected bamboo. Each pair is 15 inches long (38cm) with bamboo ranging between 11-13mm in diameter. Each mallet comes fitted with a European-style handle grip.
