The DS11 and DS18 mallets have a unique, bronze core that “kicks in” for greater projection. The DS10H and DS19Hs are significantly larger to bring out more fundamental.
Model DS10H – Soft – Heavy
A large, heavy mallet – emphasizes the dark end of the tonal spectrum.
Model DS11 – Soft
Medium weight. Dark tone is free of yarn noise and slap. Good for recording or chamber use.
Model DS18 – Hard
Medium weight designed for maximum “cutting power” in amplified and acoustic situations.
Model DS19H – Hard – Heavy
Heavyweight/oversized. Great power in well-developed hands.
