In 2012, 2016, and 2022, Master Liang Zhiling won the Tone Award for Quartet and the Viola Tone Award at the International Violin Making Competition hosted by the Violin Society of America (VSA). Regarding violin varnishing, Master Liang and his team, after years of continuous experimentation, developed an environmentally friendly varnish certified by the EU's SGS standard.
