The Overture slapstick features a professional level construction and performance at a budget-friendly price. The 20” x 4” slapstick is built from 12mm Birch ply-wood with two offset airvents. The ply construction results in sound boards that will remain straight and resist warping for the life of the instrument. Solid maple handles are sturdy yet sized for comfort and control, appropriate for performers at any level. The heavy gauge hinge provides smooth, quick action and the proper contact between soundboards for a consistent, whip-like crack
