Designed at the suggestion of Keiko Otsuka, former percussionist of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, it focuses on the sound inside the concert hall. By using a log as the core of the hammer, the hammer head is small but heavy enough to allow the hammer to be swung freely.
