The YOB-431 is made from high-quality, aged, and seasoned grenadilla wood, producing a rich, "professional" tone. It is crafted with the same careful attention to detail as the materials used in our custom models. It features accurate intonation, a balanced response, and refined tone – truly professional quality at an advanced model price point. The 431 has a semi-automatic octave key system, and the keys are hand-adjusted by Yamaha's senior craftsmen, providing excellent playability.
