The 1812s are your go-to soft chime mallets when you need a lighter touch without losing presence. They feature a soft PVC head that’s slightly smaller and lighter than our other chime mallets, giving you extra control and finesse. Perfect for delicate passages, chamber settings, or when you just want a more mellow sound from the chimes.
Even with the lighter feel, the 1812s still pull a full, resonant sound from the instrument. Like all Artifact chime mallets, they use a spherical head design for better control over dynamics, timbre, and quick passages - no clunky hammers here.
