‘Devi Mallets’ are mallets that have been tested and are favoured by many timpanists, including Mr Naoto Nakayama, Principal Timpanist of the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra.
Whilst crafting numerous bespoke orders, I noticed that players’ preferences vary in terms of shaft weight, balance, grip diameter and overall length.
 By keeping the head specifications largely fixed whilst varying the other parameters, players can select mallets that perfectly match their own playing style. Furthermore, every mallet is marked with a serial number, and the specifications of all materials used in their manufacture are recorded in our database.
