Devi Mallets’ ebony mallets are selected at the timber-sourcing stage based on grain pattern and specific gravity, and only those that can fully showcase these qualities are processed.
This is a versatile model characterised by a warm, rich sound.
To ensure the head size is suitable for a wide range of performance contexts and keyboard widths,
we have produced two variants:
28 mm (Size M) with a wine-red neck cord
25 mm (Size S) with an emerald-green neck cord.
We have produced these two variants.
○ Shaft length
We offer three different lengths: 320 mm, 345 mm and 390 mm.
The 320 mm length offers a level of manoeuvrability not found in conventional shafts;
the 345 mm length provides a well-balanced handling experience;
and the 390 mm length has been set slightly longer to allow for use with a four-piece mallet or so that purchasers can cut the shaft to size themselves.
